This policy explains which personal data the Ortak Bütçe app processes, how long it is kept, and what rights you have over that data.
Account data: Full name, email address, phone number if provided, your preferred language and currency, account status, and session information.
Financial records: The ledgers, accounts, categories, income and expense transactions, recurring transactions, and shopping lists you create, along with the notes you add to them.
Receipt images: Receipt reading runs entirely on your phone. The image you pick is never uploaded to our servers; of the text that is read, only the fields you save onto the transaction — amount, date, merchant name — are kept, as part of that financial record.
Technical data: Device model, operating system version, app version, language setting, IP address, and error logs.
Payment data: Subscription status and purchase records. Your card details are never sent to us; payment is processed by the app store.
We process your data to provide the service, manage your account, control access in shared ledgers, track your subscription and credit balance, keep the service secure, and meet our legal obligations.
Where you have given consent, we also process data to send notifications, analyze usage, report errors, personalize ads, and send marketing messages. You can withdraw these consents at any time.
Your account and financial records are processed to perform our agreement with you. Security and abuse prevention rest on legitimate interest. Notification, analytics, advertising, and marketing processing rests on your explicit consent.
When you share a ledger, the transactions in it are visible to the other members of that ledger, including which member created each record. Your personal ledgers are not shared with other users.
We share your data only with the service providers needed to run the service: hosting and database provider, authentication provider, notification infrastructure, and the subscription infrastructure. Receipt reading happens on your device, so no data is sent to a provider for it.
These providers process the data only on our instructions and within contractual limits. We do not sell your data to third parties for advertising.
Some providers we use may host servers outside Türkiye. In that case the transfer is made with the safeguards required by applicable law.
Account and financial records are kept while your account is open. After a deletion request, data is deleted or anonymized within 30 days at the latest.
We keep no files on our servers. Report and data exports are generated with the request and sent straight to you; no copy is kept afterwards. Records subject to a statutory retention obligation are kept for the prescribed period.
Data is encrypted in transit. Access rights are limited, and sign-in credentials are stored in a non-reversible form. You can review your sessions in the app and end any of them.
You have the right to access your personal data, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to its processing, and export your data in a portable format. You can withdraw the consents you granted at any time from the privacy center in the app.
The app is not intended for people under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data about children.
We may update this policy. For material changes we notify you in the app. You can reach us with questions and data requests through the support link in the app.
